Starter pack workshop for real beginners

Want to learn West Coast Swing? This Starter Pack is for you! In just 2 hours of lessons, you'll learn the basics of this dance and be ready for dancing in a party! And just in time, Friday evening is included.

Our teachers, Amandine & Adrien, offer an effective, motivating and fun-filled course.

This is a couple's dance, but you don't need to bring a partner - you can come alone. We'll change partners regularly during the class, so you can dance with everyone!

Registration required to take part, price €20 per person (Friday evening included).

Venue

The Bretzel Swing will be held in Achenheim's large multi-purpose hall, so as to welcome as many people as possible for this first edition!

The venue's address is : 7 Rue de Holtzheim, 67204 Achenheim

We will also have access to a second room so that we can offer several courses or workshops in parallel.

Planning

You can find the provisional schedule for the event here, with no morning classes scheduled, so you can make the most of the evenings.

Jack'n'Jills

For all holders of a pass with lessons, you can take part in our Jack'n'Jill to win prizes.

If you've never competed before, now's the time to get started. All levels will be mixed, and we'll hold a grand final with at least the top 5 followers and leaders. And if we exceed 30 entries, we'll organize a small final with at least the top five followers and leaders. 5 meilleurs followers et leaders après ceux de la grande finale.

You have until Saturday May 18, 2pm to collect your Bib number.

Les foodtrucks

We've even got foodtrucks on site!

On Saturday evening we'll be lucky enough to have Nouilles Oi with Bo Bun.

Sunday evening we'll have Le repère des alsaciens serving tartes flambées.

Bring your eco cup or your bottle

You're going to dance a lot, so we're providing free access to water at the event. Don't forget your eco-cup or bottle to drink from, as we won't be providing cups to make a gesture for the planet.

Teachers

We're delighted to welcome Ekaterina and Philipp Wolff, Charline Marguerite & Mel Verduci and Melodie Paletta. A Strasbourg first for our 5 guests!

We've fallen in love with these teachers, who travel to numerous events in Europe and the USA. They have a wealth of experience in teaching West Coast Swing and will pass on their advice to you.

Levels

We offer 3 levels of courses, with the two highest levels entirely in English. If you're not sure which level you'd like to take, just send us a message and we'll help you find your way.

Les intensifs

We offer 2 2-hour intensives: blues dancing and styling. You're bound to find what you're looking for in one of our two intensives, but there's no need to choose - you can take part in both for one low price! The 2 intensives will be 100% in English.

Prices

If you live more than 50km away, you can take advantage of the code TRAVELER to save €10 on passes with a course level.

Passes are bookable until May 16 at 11:59pm. You will not be able to buy a party pass after this date.

Individual party tickets are available, payable in cash on site.

Hotel

If you're looking for accommodation to take part in the Bretzel Swing, you can find a room at the B&B in Holtzheim. Double rooms are €60/night with breakfast included, so don't hesitate to call the hotel to book your room quickly, specifying that you're booking for the Bretzel Swing to get the best rate.
